How to Get There

By Foot

If you’re staying in or near the Medina, the Marrakech Museum is easily accessible on foot. Wander through the bustling streets of the old city, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere, and follow the signs to Place Ben Youssef. Walking to the museum gives you a real sense of the historical context of the area.

By Taxi

Taxis are readily available throughout Marrakech. To reach the museum, simply ask the driver to take you to “Place Ben Youssef” or “Marrakech Museum.” Make sure to agree on the fare before you start your journey as taxis in Marrakech do not typically use meters.

By Public Bus

Several bus lines stop near the Marrakech Museum. Buses heading towards the Medina will usually stop within walking distance of the museum. Check the local bus schedules for routes that best suit your starting point.

By Car

While driving in the Medina is not recommended due to the narrow and crowded streets, visitors can park at nearby public parking areas and walk to the museum. The closest parking is available at “Parking Koutoubia,” from where it’s about a 10-minute walk to the museum.
