Opening Hours
Open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM — here’s when it’s best to visit.
Open Daily: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
The Marrakech Museum is a ticketed monument with set hours, open every day of the week. Hours are shorter during Ramadan, so check before you go — and arrive early to enjoy the courtyard before the tour groups.
Best Times To Visit
Arrive right at 9:00 AM opening for the calmest courtyard and the softest light under the great chandelier — by late morning the palace fills with tour groups. Last entry is shortly before the 6:30 PM close, so leave enough time to see the exhibition rooms.
How the day unfolds
Opening (9:00am–11:30am)
The quietest and best-lit time to visit — the courtyard and exhibition rooms are calm and photograph beautifully before the tour groups arrive.
Midday (11:30am–3:00pm)
The busiest window of the day, as tour groups and guided visits fill the courtyard and the surrounding galleries.
Afternoon (3:00pm–6:30pm)
Crowds thin out again as groups move on. The museum closes at 6:30 PM with last entry shortly before, so don’t leave it too late.
